With the new year comes new faces on the Our Dee Estuary Team so we thought we would introduce ourselves and what our roles are within the project. Check out our profiles below for more details.
If you have any questions for us you can email the project or send us a message on social media.

Hello my name is Hannah and I am the project manager. I support Emily and Matt with their work as project officers and I am establishing a long-term and unified approach to estuary management through the Tidal Dee Catchment Partnership.

Hello my name is Matt and I am the Conservation and Volunteering Officer on the project. My job involves running the citizen science and practical conservation work of the project as well as our teacher training program plus much more!

Hello my name is Emily and I lead the communications for the project. I manage our social media channels and plan our public events amongst many other things. I am also developing a Clean Water Initiative and a Coastal Recreation Initiative.

We have an exciting update to share with you about our work with our partners, North Wales Wildlife Trust, at their nature reserve on the Dee Estuary, Big Pool Wood.
We successfully secured funding from our partners Natural Resources Wales to improve the access to the site and to have some signage installed to make it easier for people to visit the reserve safely.
With the help of some of the Big Pool Wood volunteers and Paul from North Wales Wildlife Trust the first phase of the access works were completed on the 10th of January.
To see what we got up to visit our Facebook page where we have added some photos from the day.

Our Dee Estuary, with thanks to National Lottery players and Sea Changers, is proud to present our series of wellbeing with nature sessions.
These sessions are designed to get people out into nature and to think about the natural world from a different perspective.
We talk a lot about what we can do for nature but what can nature do for us?
There are spaces on our next session at RSPB Burton Mere Wetlands and booking is on a first come first serve basis.
