From the project team and all our partners we would like to thank you all for coming on this journey with us and we hope to work with the communities and wildlife of the Dee Estuary again in the future.

We are bringing you an extra special bonus newsletter today because we felt that the news about our oceans was just too important not to share.

The Our Dee Estuary team have a few things to update you on in this newsletter as well as more information about groups and activities that you can get involved in once our project comes to an end in June 2025.

In the next three newsletters we will be highlighting all of the activities throughout the Dee Estuary and surrounding areas that you can continue to get involved with when Our Dee Estuary finishes at the end of June 2025.

We welcomed partners from across the Dee Estuary to come and help us showcase all the estuary has to offer.

We will be celebrating all things Dee Estuary at the Hoole Community Centre on the 8th of March.

As we welcome in 2025, the team here at Our Dee Estuary are looking to the completion of the project and, alongside partners within the Tidal Dee Catchment Partnership, beginning to plan what comes next.

Throughout the warmer months of 2024, ODE volunteers gave up their time to survey both Natterjack toads and butterflies.
